Choi Centre is delighted to once again collaborate with the Cultural and Education Department of the French Embassy in China to hold the latest edition of Les Rendez-vous de la mode in the courtyard of the courtyard. In compliance with Beijing's epidemic prevention policies, the organizers strictly limited the number of participants and implemented entrance requirements.

"Les Rendez-vous de la mode" is a new fashion project that was launched in Beijing in 2021, featuring emerging designers or young designers, who incorporate elements of art and eco-friendliness in their designs. "Les rendez-vous de la mode" closely collaborates with the French Haute Couture and Fashion Federation, and will hold a series of events combining art, fashion, professional exchange, and DJ performances during major art festivals and fashion seasons such as the "China-France Cultural Spring" and Paris Fashion Week in 2022.

In the new season of "Les rendez-vous de la mode", Chinese avant-garde designer Feng Chen Wang's eponymous brand was presented. As a leading force among China's new generation of young designers, Wang received an internationally acclaimed Master's degree in menswear design from the Royal College of Art in the UK in 2015, and is renowned for her structurally functional and gender-neutral design style, with "modern futurism, diversity, and authenticity" being the defining characteristics of her brand. While practical and design-savvy, her work also showcases personal and intimate design emotions inspired by her life trajectory. The brand's studio is currently based in London and Shanghai. Feng Chen Wang was a semi-finalist in the 2016 LVMH Young Designer Prize with her graduate collection, and was the only Chinese designer to make it to the final of the 2020 International Woolmark Prize. Her collections have been shown at New York, London, and Shanghai Fashion Weeks.
